Remove any other ntw mods in your Napoleon Total War folders. Check the vanilla campaign to insure its's working correctly. If not you will have to re-install the original ntw vanilla game.
December 13, , PM I found the problem: Bran Mac Born's sub-mod. The game now start correctly without this sub-mod.
NTW3 v8. So, I did some tests using save parser and the ESF editor to manually change the rank of units in my army, and I can confirm that setting the value to 7 or higher made the game crash to desktop when selecting the army containing such units. Doing the same in the vanilla campaign works fine.
